The Latest from the Prince of Peace Community

We are immensely grateful to God for the success of our 40th New Dawn Conference, held from 29^th – 31^st May.

This milestone conference brought over 300 people from across the country, and we were especially encouraged that around one-third of attendees were joining us for the first time. It was wonderful to see so many people encountering God’s love and experiencing renewal throughout the weekend.

Our sincere thanks go to all of our speakers who shared their wisdom, faith and gifts so generously: Fr Pat Collins, Fr James Anyaegbu, Fr Frankie Mulgrew, John Hesketh, Gary Stephens and Daniella Stephens.

We were particularly honoured to welcome Bishop John Arnold, who celebrated the closing Mass and helped bring this special anniversary conference to a prayerful and joyful conclusion.

Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of volunteers worked tirelessly to serve our guests and make the weekend possible. We are deeply grateful for their generosity, commitment and servant-hearted spirit. Together, they helped create a truly blessed weekend of encounter, fellowship and renewal. From 11^th – 15^th July, Gary Stephens attended the New Dawn Conference in Slovakia, joining more than 800 pilgrims for a powerful week of worship, teaching, prayer and fellowship.

During the conference, Gary also led an International New Dawn Leaders Meeting, bringing together representatives from New Dawn communities across the world. Leaders from Scotland and the Czech Republic joined in person, with Portugal, Zambia and Uganda represented.

It was a blessed week that highlighted the remarkable international impact New Dawn has had since its beginnings in 1987. What began as a movement of renewal has grown into a network of communities and conferences spanning several nations, helping countless people encounter Christ and experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

We are profoundly grateful for our international brothers and sisters who faithfully work so hard to organise New Dawn in their own countries. Their dedication, faithfulness and commitment continue to bear much fruit, and it is a privilege to stand alongside them as part of the wider New Dawn family.

After forty years of New Dawn Conferences, the Prince of Peace Community is now entered a season of sabbatical, prayer and discernment as we seek the Lord’s guidance for the future.

We would greatly appreciate your prayers during this important time. Information about New Dawn events will be shared through our website and social media channels. At present, no dates have been set for the next New Dawn Conference as we continue to discern the path ahead and seek the direction of the Holy Spirit.

We are also delighted to see All Saints Boxing Club continuing to flourish.

Led by our three dedicated boxing coaches, the club has now expanded to three sessions each week, including separate sessions for junior members. What began as a sporting initiative is increasingly becoming a place of friendship, encouragement and belonging.

People of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome, and it is wonderful to see a genuine sense of community developing through the club. The growth we are witnessing is a testament to the commitment of our coaches and volunteers, as well as the enthusiasm of everyone who attends.
