For more than four decades, New Dawn has brought together Catholics of all ages for prayer, worship, teaching, and fellowship. Updates on future conferences will be shared here as they become available.
THE NEW DAWN EXPERIENCE
For more than 40 years, New Dawn has been one of England’s leading Catholic conferences, bringing together families, individuals, clergy, religious, and people of all ages for a powerful experience of prayer, worship, teaching, and fellowship.
For much of its history, New Dawn was held at the Catholic National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, becoming a cherished annual gathering for thousands of pilgrims. In recent years, the conference has been hosted at All Saints Shrine, the Church of the City of Mary Immaculate in Manchester, continuing its tradition of helping people encounter Christ, deepen their faith, and experience spiritual renewal.
New Dawn is blessed by Pope Francis and is endorsed by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England & Wales. Over the years it has been attended by thousands of pilgrims and streamed to over 200,000 viewers worldwide. New Dawn has spread to several countries including Scotland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Portugal, Zambia, and Uganda each with their own team.
Rooted in the life of the Church and inspired by the call to renewal, New Dawn offers a rich programme including Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, praise and worship, inspiring talks, workshops, reconciliation and healing services, Marian devotion, and opportunities for fellowship and community life.
New Dawn is a truly family-friendly event, with dedicated children’s and youth programmes, a babies and toddlers’ area, social spaces, exhibitors, a Catholic bookshop, and opportunities to build lasting friendships with Catholics from across the country and beyond.
Over the years, countless pilgrims have found encouragement, healing, and a renewed sense of mission through New Dawn. Through prayer, worship, and authentic Christian community, the conference continues to reflect its founding vision of renewal in the Church and the transformation of lives through an encounter with Jesus Christ.
