A Grace-Filled New Year’s Eve At All Saints

As the final hours of 2025 drew to a close, over 45 people gathered at All Saints to welcome the New Year in the most beautiful way possible – in the presence of the Lord and under the loving protection of Mary, the Holy Mother of God.

Our 11:30pm New Year’s Eve Mass, celebrated by Fr Frankie Mulgrew, marked the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. The hall was filled with a spirit of peace, gratitude, and joyful expectation as we prayed for God’s blessing over the year ahead and entrusted all our ministries – especially New Dawn – to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The liturgy offered a powerful reminder that every new beginning is a gift of grace. As we crossed the threshold into 2026, the congregation stood together to proclaim the Apostles’ Creed, renewing our faith and our commitment to Christ.

After Mass, the celebration continued with mulled wine, tea, coffee, biscuits, and cakes. Many shared how meaningful it was to begin the New Year not with noise or distraction, but with worship, peace, and hope – a moment where “heaven opened over us,” renewing our hearts for the journey ahead.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us, and to all who serve, pray, and support the Prince of Peace Community here at All Saints.

May 2026 be a year filled with God’s grace, the protection of Our Lady, and the fire of the Holy Spirit guiding us forward.

Come, Holy Spirit.
